• One-month-old Ali al-Batran died from hypothermia in Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital a day after his twin brother died from the same cause, the Wafa news agency reported.
• Israeli forces continue to pound Gaza a day after attacks that killed 30 people, including seven in an assault on al-Wafaa Hospital in Gaza City. The nearby Ahli Hospital was also shelled.
• Calls are growing for the release of Dr Hussam Abu Safia, the director of the Kamal Adwan Hospital who was arrested after Israeli forces stormed the facility and set fire to it on Friday.

Israel’s war on Gaza has killed at least 45,541 Palestinians and wounded 108,338 since October 7, 2023. At least 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken captive.
