(TBA News) – Yesterday, the chairman of Turkey’s Future Party Ahmet Davutogly presented a proposal that was widely and enthusiastically supported by viewers online – may Gazans hold a referendum to join Turkey as an autonomous region until a Palestinian state is established, and provide each Gazan with a Turkish passport.

Considering all circumstances and where things stand in the relationship with the West, that is an ingenious proposal.

With Gaza becoming an autonomous region of Turkey, it automatically falls under the protection of NATO. Certainly, NATO would absolutely reject that idea and object to it to the core of its Islam hating apartheid soul, but as long as the lawyers argue about that new reality, NATO member states would have to think twice about supporting Tel Aviv in attacking the NATO member Gaza, and Tel Aviv, leave alone Washington, would think twice about trying to annex a part of Turkey.
