Given Washington’s sudden turn on Ukraine, regardless of that being justified or not, those who put their defense into the hands and dependency of American military technology are now becoming increasingly concerned. It now needs to be expected that Washington can turn its support 180 degree every four years. The same applies to technology under the control of Elon Musk. Everything coming from his businesses is now compromised. For failure to cooperate with what ever their agenda is right now, what ever the flavor is of today, you can be blackmailed through a switch off switch. Be it that fighter jets do not become operational anymore, or complete services like satellite based internet access or geospacial real time information, all that can now be taken away for the sin of disobedience.

German policymakers are growing increasingly concerned over the possibility that in the event of a crisis, the US could remotely disable F-35 fighter jets being delivered to Berlin, mirroring its recent decision to freeze intelligence and military support to Ukraine, Bild reported on Saturday.
